Century Insurance Group holds Underwriters Convention
Betty Sikora recently attended Century's convention in Las Vegas, NV. Century is unveiling their new on line quoting system which will mean even faster turn around for our agents. The new system is outlined to quote GL and Property business. The on line system should be up and running by May of this year. S&H is very excited to have access to this great underwriting/quoting tool. We will keep you updated and let you know when the system is working.

New Designation
The designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) has been conferred upon Patrick Sikora, Vice President of S&H Underwriters following his successful completion of a rigorous insurance education program sponsored by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. Patrick and other individuals who hold the CIC designation have demonstrated their professional competence through a combination of experience, formal training and a series of comprehensive written examinations focusing on all major fields of insurance, insurance management and agency operations.

Patrick is married to Betty Sikora, and they reside with their three children Caitlyn, Patrick and Gabrielle (and two dogs Duke(Black Lab) and Cooper(Golden Retriever) in East Montpelier Vermont. Patrick is an owner of S&H Underwriters. He has been in the insurance industry for 15 years.

3/31/06 - Monoline Liquor Market (Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont)
S&H Underwriters is pleased to announce that we have a new market for liquor liability coverage. This carrier will entertain Package Stores, Convenience Stores, Grocery Stores, Liquor Outlets, Restaurants, Bars and Taverns. Nightclubs are not eligible. The carrier has an AM Bests Rating of A-.

Limits are available up to $1,000,000. Assault and Battery coverage is available on most classes of business.

Special competitive rates and minimum premiums apply for fine dining or family style restaurants (under 25% alcohol).

We can Package the Liquor Liability coverage with the General Liability and Property Coverage too.

Most classes of business can be quoted in our office without prior approval so there is a fast turn around on quotes. Competitive rates will help our agents save their clients premium dollars.

The commission is 10%.
